STi Fog cover removal
What is behind the Fog light covers and how do they pop off?

Just put your fingers into the slits on the covers, and pull out. They'll pop off. What's behind there? Just empty space.

Yea, grab and yank, then you'll see how vulnerable your fog covers are wherever you park

Which is why I went with these, and use the covers for extended highway driving (200 miles twice a week) to protect the fogs;
-Mike- p.s. Before I get a flood of e-mails about the fogs, click here; http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...&highlight=fog |

Thanks guys! I was hoping the foglight housing was behind the cover (how the TS Sport wagon is equiped)!
I had the dealer today pop a cover off - ugly! Mike thanks for the details and explains why north american cars have the smaller fogs- your car looks spectacular! How do the covers snap in? Is there room for the tabs to slide into place? |

Thanks for the compliments.
You can only use either the STi fog light cover or the fog light surround. You can't use both at the same time, however they are both easy to install/remove. -Mike- |

I believe that you can put the foglight covers over the USDM Foglight surrounds. A few people with WRX's have done it and some of them even put the foglights on behind the foglight covers to give it a nice little glow
