Default PA, MD, NJ, NY Sell me your 99-00 RS! I have cash right now!

Ok so my WRX is sold and I am looking into an RS. Unfortunately, I can only afford around $10,000. Here is what I want:

5spd.
Less than 65,000 miles.
Relatively stock (suspension and handling mods OK, as well as headers, but no fart can exhaust and no turbo'd blocks)
Do not want red or green.

I have seen every RS posted here in the last 2 months and only 1 looks like it would suit me.

So basically if you have been thinking of selling your RS but haven't got around to it and haven't posted it yet, here is your chance. I will buy your car, and you don't have to worry about posting it here or on autotrader or the newspaper. Just PM or post the color, miles, options, mods, and your location and pics and we'll talk.

OR - if you have seen an RS on a dealer lot let me know and I will check it out. I will paypal you $50 for finding my car. I am in PA, so please don't find me a car in CA for example. I have also checked Autotrader so please don't post links to any cars on there as I have seen them.

I have a loan approved so I am ready to buy.

I love your car, and have followed many of your threads. I would grab it in a second except it has been beaten on pretty bad during all those competitions.

Its hit a few cones in its days , trans + motor are SOLID. I Have the original 99rs rear in great condition, You are more than welcome to ask any of the vendors/mods in the tri-state.

-McDade - Ex Subaru Tech Current Jaguar Tech does pretty much everything over my head
-Booster - Subaru tech, did all dealer work (Wheel bearings replaced by Wayne Subaru)
-NinosAutoAccessories - All parts came from him
-Precision Tuning - Anything that couldnt be done in a driveway with mcdade was done by them
-AZP Installs - Have been around it since day one

They all have driven it/worked on it. If you want an honesnt opinion feel free to contact them for an opinion.

And i just picked up a set of Anthracite P1 Wheels/Pirelli P7000's, Silver 99RS are no more.

good luck!

I've got an '01 RS sedan (GC6) that'll probably be going up on the market in the near future. (I'm moving back home to MI and am planning on getting a new car.)

It's got high miles but it's very solid.

PM if interested. I can even deliver it out there around Xmas time since I'll be going out to visit my sis in Delaware.

I see them all the time (aside from mine ) - there's a bunch of modded ones at UD alone.

It was a private sale I found on Autotrader. Asking price was $13,500 but I haggled down to $11,500. Granted it's a completely stock car, so if you're looking for ballpark figures, it might not be comparable.

The prices dealers were asking for some RSs were completely ridiculous. I think Matt Slapp Subaru has a 01 RS with 28k miles and they were asking $17,900. You can get a brand new 02 RS for that. I know demand is somewhat high, but that is just highway robbery.

I couldn't get many dealers to give me a firm price over email or phone, I had to go down there, but all the dealers with RSs I wanted were at least an hour away, and I wasn't making the drive for nothing.

Sounds good, i got mine off a lease from a dealer last year and he didnt budge much. I drove over 100 miles to pick it up in upstate ny.

With dealers i would get quotes from a few and tell the next to beat it, but they all knew and i got alot of "these are in more of a demand than wrx's!"

best of luck with it.
