Wink Critique This Please.

A video I was working on a couple months back but stopped because I got bored. Tell me what you think of it. I know it's poor quality because I wanted to keep the file size down.

Pretty sweet stuff, awesome car and your camera work really makes it look good. I'd like to hear the engine though with music in background.

I do have some sound of the car but no good actual footage so I'll ahve to take some more sometime. I just need to get my hands on one of those external prof. camera mounts High Tach uses

Good video, but you should try videoing one really good drift through a turn.

Thanks for the compliments. What I need right now is a camera crew. I'd love to get some more dynamic footage instead of setting up the tripod and driving by and I also need someone who will listen to me and do as I say not their own thing. As for the drifting . . . once I find a nice road to do it on I'll get some sweet footage.

Nice camera work. Might just be my computer, but the video was choppy. Personally, I'd change the soundtrack. Maybe dub in some boxer engine roaring. Purrrrr...

Oh have no fear, I have footage from a rally cross and snow but it's not quality footage to use in a movie.

The movie is choppy because it's not at the highest quality setting for size reasons and also I slowed down most of the footage at the beginning and that also lowers quality and makes the movie look choppy.

Matt, what NLE software are you using? I've had good results with Pinnacle Studio 7. I just put together a computer dedicated (mostly) for video editting: hyperthread P4/3.0GHz, 1G dual burst DDR/400 ram, dual 80G SATA drives striped (Raid 0) for system software and rendered video, 80G EIDE drive for video capture, CD burner and DVD burner.

It's great!

Now I have to design an in-car camera mount I can use for autoX.

P.S. Great video. Some excellent camera angles. I might steal an idea or two for an upcoming project.

I'm using Adobe Premiere 6.0 on my E Machines computer. In all it runs rather slow and I'd love some new software that runs faster but can't get my hands on anything.

As for the cameramount. Try this out. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...t=camera+mount

It works great for me. Just haven't inegrated any in car action into the movie yet.

Matt, that is awesome. P4n Sk1llz to DA M4x Might wanna try a tripod though -- or one that's more sturdy, heh

I've played around w/ video mounting and stuff in my WRX and i finally came to the conclusion you definately need 2+ people for things to come out professionally

Unless it's just a passenger mounted cam, I actually figured that out and it was very sturdy. Didn't look like I was going fast at all when I was going 100 though.

Yeah I know what you mean. I did a 0- 60ish and it looked like I was going only 30mph max. That's when you speed up the movie

Matt, check PM. I sent link to the passenger mounted vid. It's when I had my old TXS BOV on (now i have hks ssqv - its so much better.....), also before i got my TXS Ti-RFL Exhaust.

You can definately hear the boxer roar though..... Sounds so beautiful!!!!

Don't wanna post it because people might be influenced to go 100mph.

PM me if anyone else wants to see.

Just followin the nabisco rules
