I recently went catless (stock cat-back w/ gutted cats) and wired in a MIL eliminator w/ the second O2 sensor.
Why would I get this code? Could it be the solder came undone on the Mil Eliminator or that my 02 sensor went bad? thanks, -justin

I had the same problem. The problem is that your wires have come apart, or you didn’t connect the wires correctly. That code you’re getting means that the rear 02 sensor is not getting a signal at all. The MIL is just for a 420 code (low-efficiency). Take off the 02 sensor and see what’s going on, I’m almost sure it’s not getting a signal.

honestly I dont know? If it was me I would still drive but if I noticed my car running funny I would not drive it any more till I fixed it.
I think the rear 02 is just to monitor the temp in the car and really dosent effect anything...thats just me When my CE light came on I was driving on the highway it was the same code yo got, my car was running normal even the day after...I didnt fix it until 2 days later, everything was fine |

the rear 02 sensor is there to monitor cat efficiency.
You can drive it. I have seen problems with the rear 02 sensor wires chafing on the heat shields. like andy said inspect the sensor and the wires, Might be something very obvious. Jay |

What is weird is I wrapped that sucker TIGHT with electrical tape after soldering the MIL Eliminator w/ it.
As long as it isnt 'bad' I dont have to spend more money .The guy at the autozone was saying it was under warranty...HAHAHA he was nice and everything, but warranty isnt going to cover jack w/ a hacked up wiring harness .-justin |

the wires are just so short + the wires on the o2 sensor are like bend resistant
.Looks like the electrical tape will be used again to cover up the CEL till I have time to yank the sensor. -justin |
