Post Broken Unread threads?

For some reason neither my work computer nor my home computer has been able to display unread threads (red folders vs. yellow folders). It still displays unread discussion groups just fine. Anyone else having this problem?

Guys, try again to follow the instructions on the other thread. And if it still dosen't work, you will have to manually remove the cookie setup by the browser for this site.

Ok guys, this is what I had to do. After you remove the cookies and resubmit the preferences, CLOSE YOUR BROWSER. And I mean all windows of your browser, even ng and mail windows. Launch your browser again and you should not see any icons of read/unread forums. All should be fine. I'm using Communicator 4.73.

Hello,

I just tried the above instructions and still, it doesn't work. More irritating is that whenever I get to this site, I have to first click on the mail directory for it to log me in then I'm logged in (or post a post). Wierd ****. IE 5

Joel (I even deleted EVERYTHING in the cookies directory until there were NO files). Then I closed IE and all other apps. Then I came back, still doesn't work. I tried everything again, including erasing the directory, using the delete cookies feature on this website, and then restarted the computer. I'm generally not an idiot when it comes to computers, but I must admit, I have no clue how to make cookies that don't work, work.

Hello,

Just to bring this up again, now my flaming folders in the list of forums are always flaming regardless of whether there is new stuff and my folder folders are never red. I'm runing IE 5.5 beta now, was running 5.0 before. I not only deleted all the cookies, but I also wiped all files in the entire IE directory and erased all preferences and all of that. I guess I just can't have those features anymore?

do you connect with a shortcut directly to the forums?

if so, does the shortcut connect to the server IP address or www.impreza-rs.com?

if it's the IP then thrash the link and go to the impreza-rs homepage and link again.

Hello,

Yeah, I saw that and got all excited. I replaced the numbers with impreza-rs.com and that's when the lightbulb forums stopped working

Normally competent, now feeling inadequate. HELP! IT? Where are you? (Oh now you want our help - before you blocked access to your computer somehow, and now you come crawling?).

Yeah yeah, I'm stuck
