Wink

Just sent them a nice mail, asking if they still believe in that review, and raised questions as to why they have not done a review on the 99's and up. (probably because they were so far off on the 98 review, they figured all readers lost faith in there ability to judge a car after there own car gets pulled out of a ditch in the middle of a blizzard on the east coast at the intersection of "my cars a POS" & "Thank god for the RS")

Dudes, don't worry. Those reviews aren't written by people who love real cars. These reviews are written by Ralph Nader.

Get a load of this line out of their BMW Z3 review:
"Unfortunately, BMW decided to do away with the very adequate four-cylinder, 1.9-liter engine that came in the base-model Z3. Now, you can only get it with a choice of six-cylinder engines: A) overpowered, and B) extremely overpowered."

BMW M Roadster:
"It's certainly one of the fastest cars we've ever driven. For that reason, it's almost useless to own one of these: there's nowhere in civilization where you can really make use of it. You'd be in danger of killing someone within about six seconds of hitting the gas pedal."

Ford Mustang
"Tommy thinks the Mustang is a "criminal car." He says to make a vehicle with this much power should be against the law. Why? Because the car was designed to appeal to young adults. And what will young adults do with an overpowered, sporty car? They'll kill themselves in it!"

Buick Regal GS:
"The package gives you a supercharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine, which is more power than any reasonable person needs."

Ford Crown Victoria:
"Finally, don't forget that this car is still rear-wheel drive. It's not designed for the Snowbelt--it's designed for the white belt: the white leather belt...with the polyester pants and the white leather loafers."
(Dang, that's so funny I can forgive the BMW comments!)

Dont worry guys. The review is about the IMPREZA 2.5GT, and NOT the IMPREZA 2.5RS.

as a matter of fact, I'm glad these people don't like it. I wouldn't have any people to pull up next to and laugh at if everyone was driving a rs.

AO

(on a personal note - one step closer to the rs, got a job at which I can afford the payments.. YEAH!)
