Hey Snoopy, I'm having a big juicy filet mignon tonight. I'll eat it in your honor. I like my pets, but this is pushing the limits of sanity.

I just read the article... does anyone actually associate the name, in today's society, with what PETA is stating...? I sure don't...

Post PETA consiracy.

Everytime I post about the PETA/Green Bay Packers article, the thread gets deleted. If you admins allow other "off topic" subjects, why not this one?

At least show me some courtesy and give me a warning. If you think I'm being harsh on PETA, then let me know and I'll stop.

Angry

Is this that Ronald McDonald Unhappy meals crap? My little cousin and his friends went to Micky D's the other day and some bitch from PETA gave them all this disgusting propeganda! It made me so mad, I gave that bitch a piece of my mind. Just because you're a vegetarian, I don't have to be. And just because I'm a omnivore, you don't have to be either. The manager at Micky D's asked her to leave the property, which she did with much reservation. I'm just so upset that they are scaring little kids, making them lose thier appetite, just to push their hopeless bull**** agenda.

Sorry had to vent it really made me mad.

MEAT EATERS FOREVER!

You know... I just realized something. Has anyone ever actually known anyone to be a member of PETA? I mean, noone I've ever met has stood up for them...

I don't get it. A group that insane and you'd think they'd have a following somewhere (besides that McDonald's lady - there are lots of crazy people at McDonald's ).

Me and my roomate, also my sister and two best buds are all members of PETA...
they can be a little harsh,
but give me a break dudes....

Do you know how much crap we put up with from people that know we're vegetarians... even people that kinda like us, say at work... can you take a minute to imagine for what kinda hostility we gotta deal with from people that don't know us and like us... like people on the street.

Boo f-king hoo.... sorry if some lady ruined your appetite, can't take what you dish out?... just try to remeber that we get beat on every day in ways you can't even being to understand... sorry if you can't handle 1% of the BS we take daily...

I though meat eater's were rough and tough...? you let some veggie girl get to you???...

Anyway, sorry to vent dudes... really I got no bone to pick with you guys, it's tuff though to be a veggie and I'll be standin' up to anyone that knocks us down... you really can be all alone amidst a lot of hostile people that shuv meat in your face, yell and scream at you, tell you your un-healthy, gonna die, how do you get your protien type crap, call you a freak b/c you care about the 'poor little animals'...

I better stop now... I'm gettin' pissed...

My best friend became veggie and his one friend is a vegan, and the differance is I can sit down and eat WITHOUT making somekind of refferance to what's in the food or that it will kill me ....I eat meat once a day and my blood pressure, Cholesterol, heart rate is lower than theirs, and most people. Plenty of Eatiable Tastey Animals needs to look themselves in the mirror, and understand that YOU are the counter-culture of the USA DEAL. Don't interupt my meals or i'll prove your theories wrong in the Micky-Ds. Which i did once, and got free food for it! 1 Key ameino acid that is needed in the human body is only found in meat ...if people were suppose to be plant eaters explain that ...or as i say riddle me that plantman?

Vitamin B12 is found only in tasty juicy meat and essential to our health.

Being a vegan takes a lot of effort. Why? Coz by nature, we're omnivores. It's not natural for humans to be a vegan, no matter what they say about how long our intestines are(apparently, pure carnovires have short intestines) and the heart problems associated with eating too much meat.

The only time we hear about PETA is when they request or do something radical(like burn down a ski resort because it interferes with wildlife). Most times, they do stand up for the little critters without going overboard. Despite this, the FBI has them on their watch list.

Uh Oh UH OH... no... be good...

Being vegan is easy dudes... I'm coming up on two years now.. you just gotta know where to shop.

And I admit, it does take some getting used to and it's hard to eat out until you adjust your patterns...

B12 - yes, found in meat/dairy. made by bacteria, due to the fkd up farming methods, and food irradiation this bacteria is removed from plants (it used to be covering them after fresh produce was pulled from the ground)

Solution?? Instead of diggin' on meat or dairy, I ingest organic soymilk or just read the food labels.. B12 isn't like gold, you can get it all over the place.

Faraz - What amino acid can only be found in meat by the way??

peace dudes, and it there are a lot of things that contribute to high cholesterol, including genetics, excercies etc... but to not eat meat minimizes the bad cholesterol in your blood stream...

A truly better, more scientific test would be to test your OWN cholesterol while on a meat diet and then on a vegan diet - don't you agree????

by the way - this is good way to kill time while I wait for my exhaust to cool... thanks

Have a Nice Day?

Mizen- If you think it's appropriate to scare little kids, then all I can say is that's sad, really freakin' sad. I didn't lose my appetite. I enjoyed my meal consisting of a cheeseburger and fries. I have realitives that are vegan- and I don't mind that at all. What I mind is that these activists go a little to far to push their message. And no, she didn't "kick my ass." What she did do is scare a bunch of kids ranging in ages from 2 on up, and THAT WAS NOT APPROPRIATE!!! Although I would not put it past a person like that to use violence. You feel froggy then jump... I love animals, I keep them as pets and they are a part of my family. But PETA is just to extremist for me. Maybe you all should work for something you can change, because face it, animals will always be used for testing (although I would like to see some semblence of care), there are always going to be humans who like to eat meat, and I don't see PETA even hurting in any way McDonald's business or financial success, or any other business for that matter. Let's not turn this into a flame war, I for one am now trying to be civil, although this pisses me off!

PETA is kewl in some places where animal cruelty exists. In parts of Asia, I've seen alot of cruelty done to hapless creatures. Haven't seen any over zealous PETA members knocking at me while I chomp down my Whoppers.

I was reading somewhere that omnivore ppl are actually in general more healthy than veggie folks.
