Post whens the next BAM/install fest?

Hey, i was wondering if there is an install fest coming up soon... I need to install some new parts to DESTROY Daniel in Auto-X and i need some other stuff... I was wondering if anyone wanted to host an install fest to provide me with a place to take my car to astronomical proportions. Do it for the MT people!!!

I've been doing some stuff to my car over the past couple months or so (Borla header, custom fiberglass intake, McIntosh sub, GREAT alignment from Griffin in Berkeley) that I would like to show off a bit...so getting together again sounds like fun to me.

I just haven't been involved in the board much recently, so I haven't been posting/checking much...but I still would like to show off my goodies.

Yeah, that's about right.

Luckily Daniel knows the road very well AND knows the difference between a blind curve and one that can be safely taken fast.

I'm in a SF so the closer to the city the better. I wish would could have it in my garage, but it's tiny.

hmmm... at least you have a garage... I park in the street all the time. One of the down sides of living so close to the city.

Angry

subaruwrx:

at least you live in DC where parking spaces are easy to find and bumper checks are not as likely. i live in the city, near north beach where finding a parking space is like seeing a RS (hard), and people around SF (no offense to anyone) can't park! my bumpers are all full of dents! = (

yeah, i know what you mean. I park in the city every so often, and occasionally i will come out and see someone backing into my car and then hitting the car in front of them to find out how far they can maneuver their massive Sport Rediculous vehicle in to a motorcycle parking spot that is next to a fire hydrant. They have no respect for anyone els's car. One person shouted "sorry" at me while they were running away from me and my car... That was the closest thing i got to retribution. Actually, i live in Daly City near the Excelsior district, so i am 1 street away from the city, and parking still sucks. I have to drive around for 20 minutes to find a parking spot... And then i have to walk 20 minutes to get from my spot to my house. But the rent is cheap, and the pay is good... So i deal with it... Sorry about this long rant, Parking and inconsiderate drivers are 2 of my pet peeves...

I lived in North Beach for 2 years. Parking there is godawful.

Still, after you get a locals permit, the ease up on you big time.

Question

subaruwrx: trying going to union st. oh my god, sometimes i just get pissed off watching people park. the space is huge, and they have to hit the car in back of them!!! ok, what else is that they are rich and drive beemers, benz, land rovers, suvs, and all the european stuff. i drive a japenese import! my car body is soft, not like their stuff! i get dents!

angus:

where in north beach you lived? oh, how did you get to move into the presido? are you renting or own? is it expensive. i wanted to move in their when the military had to leave, but....
