Default Cobb or Injen CAI

Which would you recommend for a 04 RS?

Cobb - it has fewer bends that would cause restriction, and the PRM filter seems to smooth out the airflow to reduce low end loses.

I think someone should let me borrow a cobb so I can dyno my car with it, and with my injen cai. Just so you know, 01 RS with injen intake and removed spare tire/jack i ran a 15.005 at 88.51 with a 1.979 60' and a 9.4 1/8th mile. I like my injen.

Food for thought...

Injen may be nice, but www.subaruplanet.com will only sell the Cobb and GanzFlow

So??? What's your point Larry??

If the guy wants to buy from you he has to get either a Cobb or a Ganzflow.

You know what, pdm racing will only sell the PDM CAI. What does it prove?

When I buy a product, I care about the product, not who sells it.

Phil =)

The point is that I wont waste my time selling the Injen, it isn't as good as the Cobb and after almost 4 years in Subaru I understand the benefits and problems with all these different intakes out there. Also, the injen, and isn't the bang for the buck that the ganzFlow is, so if someone doesn't want to drop the $$ for a Cobb why offer them an Injen.

The philosophy is to either offer the best, or offer the best bang for the buck. Anything else is a waste of time and money. Ohhh, now I'm starting to sound like Mike Shields. Eeeeeeeeee!!!

Okay then, it's either the Cobb or the PDM. At $55, the PDM is the bang-for-buck leader.

cai is basically a piece of pipe and a air filter that become way overpriced as soon as it get the label performance part or coob, injen, aem ,etc label on it.

my 2 cents

You could make your own... they arent that hard, if you want to pay for a name, go ahead but i think you get more pride over something you built your self that works just as well
