Why? Those gold wheels just look perfect. Especially on the Blue cars. repainting them should be a punishable offense. Yuck.

That's enough grounds for a lynching!!!
I want you to go to that shop and do a citizens arrest on the owner and the people who actually took on the job and performed it. While you are there, get the address of this fool so we can ALL stalk him or her and then lynch em all on the October 22nd PCH run to set an example!!!

Thumbs up

Gold sucks! So sue me. Oh yeah, they're not painted, they're polished. Center caps are now painted silver too.

The guy I bought my '98 from painted mine silver. He liked the gold but figured it would sell better if he made them silver....
It's sixes for me.... but I WOULD like to get silver 2.5RS decals for the wing now... the gold ones look strange w/ silver wheels.

Have you ever seen those gold rims on a green Impreza? *PUUUUKE*

Silver is the best color, sorry guys, I would go for a set of silver MY99 rims before I'd go for a set of gold O.Z. or Speedlines in a heartbeat.

The gold wheels looks good only on certain cars. And 8c is correct....it looks disgusting on some colours like green or even red or silver.... or white.... heck! it only looks good on that rally blue! Cus it's put to fame by Colin with his WRC Impy!
GOld rims on black reminds of those black Grand Prixs with gold rims....

I've got a black '98 RS with the gold rims. I didn't like the rims when I bought the car and I still don't like 'em. After winter's over, I'm getting them powdercoated black. They do look good on the RBP, though. But I still hate the color gold on anything.

LOL @ the Pontiac reference...
