Default Head Gasket Questions.........

Hey guys I am new to this forum and to my car, 98 RB 2.5RS, I have heard that these cars have head gasket problems at about 70,000 miles. Well my car only has 48k miles on it but I like to be safe, so I am wondering what is all invloved in replacing the head gaskets? Also when do this are there any upgrades I should do, you know, while i'm in the engine as it is? Any info would be much appreciated(sp)!!!
TIA
Ben
