Anybody know where I can order one online? I used to see them at Costco for around 40 bucks, but not anymore.

I don't know about a breathalyzer but I have this cool product that comes with a bag that you blow into and then blow the contents of the bag past a tester and it tells you if your legal or not. Unfortunately, it's a one time use thing, but could save your arse in a pinch.

the sharper image has a keychain version for about $50, dunno how accurate it is though..
http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/ca...html?sku=PV122 they also have a more expensive version that actually gives a numerical reading as opposed to an indicator http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/ca...html?sku=BT300 [This message has been edited by KooshDogg (edited October 04, 2000).] |

Yikes Koosh, I've seen something similar for less than half the price! Damn Sharper Image.

That Sharper Image piece is pretty cool. There was a guy that used to come to a bar that a friend of mine worked at (geez, can anyone follow that?) who had one and tested himself every time before he left. Very cool.
BTW, the one on Sharper Image's site is listed for $40, not $50. [This message has been edited by 8Complex (edited October 05, 2000).] |

i dont think itd be that inaccurate, im assuming they have a well adjusted scale for it, arent they lobbying for a change in what BAC levels are defined as legal now? also might wanna double-check with them on the price, the search page brought it up as $49.95 but as 8 pointed out the info page shows up as $39.95, either way i think the keychain one would more than suffice, im actually considerin gettin one myself
*disclaimer: kion is underage and does not drink, purchasing a breathalyzer can also be purely for scientific and experimentation purposes... hehe* |

hehe.... don't know where you can buy one, but I think it's pretty cool that a few bars around here have 'em on the wall for a quarter.
