Default My car is back-firing

It happens mostly between shifts. Is this normal? I have heard that most boxer engines do it but i just want to make sure thats there is nothing wrong

ya i bought my car used and only driven around 6 k miles so im still getting used to all the little characteristics of the car

Try rev matching and blipping the throttle at around 2k going from 3rd to 2nd gear. I make inocent bystanders poop themselves.
