Question Propeller shaft compatability?? Wrx Vs. GC8

Does anyone know if the Propeller shaft off a 1999-2000 GC8 2.5 RS is the same as one off a 2002-2004 Impreza Wrx/RS???

What subies are compatable?

The bearing in my 1999 RS prop shaft is shot. Looking for an alternate replacement.

Drive shaft/Prop shaft....same thing
Its what the service manual says.

Are they the same length??? Is the center bearing bolt onto the same location on both generations of vehicles???
