Post I received a "Rice Ticket" ??!!

As i was walking out of my local PC arcade i noticed something under my wiper blade. "oh, no a parking ticket," i said to myslef. There wasn't a meter so i figured it was a ticket for double parking(i don't want people slaming their doors on my car). Nope, that wasn't either. A rice ticket. The following was checked off; Excessively large exhasut tip, Oversided and pointless wing, and Windshield banner.

Ok, first of all. I only have text on my windshield which says MWSOC midwest subaru owners club. And i have a tint strip too. I don't think its ugly or "too much." I do have a WRX ver.5 wing and i could care less if they dont' like it becuase the person that wrote this ticket wrote down the make as "impreza" and model "awd." i was like "***!" this guy doesn't know ****!

you can find the place that supplies these tickets at www.ricecop.com

i really really wish i would have seen this joker in action so i could rip him apart. grrrrr

-M a t t

btw here is a pic of my car. this is w/o my red/clear tails.

If I ever cought the guy who did it i would kick the ***** out of him for calling my car a rice. They obviosly dont know much about cars because a Subaru is not a rice. If I where you I would get the paper finger printed and the track the SOB down and explain to him that its not a rice.

Take it as a Joke since one of the members in the MWOSC club made those up and gave them out to everyone at one of the meets to pass onto others. I think someone was playing a joke on you.

BTW, imo the windshield banner does function as a sunscreen, the rear wing will be somewhat functional if you drive fast like me, and the tip is always great for shooting grapefruits.

ROFL it wasn't me... though I have been known to give out rice tickets (for others to fill out) to the rest of the club.

Its joke, everyone calm down. Geeze. Better one of those for fun, than some looney ripping off your wing in a deperact of saving you from being to "ricey" eh?

I seen cars that should recive some of those tickets. but alot of the cars I seen on their page don't deserve a ticket like that 'cause they are nicely modified.
common a ticket for clear lights? Yeah, lets go to Lexus dilership and ticket some new lexues. or lets go to Japan and ticket 20% of the cars
or shall we go and ticket a eveycar with a windshild banner?
Or maybe all the new imprezas should get a ticket for "excess fog lights"?
"Crooked parking"?

Maybe that's because I live in San Francisco and we have ALOT of rice rickets, but most of those things dont bother me UNLESS they are redicilus or someone did a ****y job.
How can you blame a person who did something to improve his car and did a good job on that? ok. if its a geo metro or a tercel with a body kit, I might start cracking up. but car with a nicely done body kit catches my attention in a good way.

That is too funny. You just have to take it in good humor. One of the main reasons I don't upgrade my exhaust at all is that I personally can't stand anything over say 2.5". The only thing that should have over 3" exhaust is a car with a big block V8 (or larger). That and I don't really want exhaust "drone"

I just wanna find out who this person is. At first i thought it was a friend of mine cus i've shown a lot of friends the ******* websites and the tickets you can print out.

btw. i'm going to be going back to the same place i got the ticket and i will be sure i can see it form inside when i get an alarm i'm gonna rig it up so if the wiper blades get moved around it will go off

That is funny. I need one of those. I have an eclipse GS, GS mind you, on the next block with a Combat wing. Also, do it yourself white stripes over the tail lights. Flippin hysterical. I'm going to print it out and give it to him. chuckle

A ton of the "Accused" people on that page are from Henrietta, NY... Which is a part of Rochester. I've actually seen some of those cars, like the white Integra, the black Prelude with clear lights, and the dark red CRX. I haven't seen too many ridiculous looking rice-mobiles here though... But I'll carry a few "tickets" with me from now on.

I agree with everyone else about it being funny and just fun to give out the tickets but I have a question about others' idea of rice. Can you please tell me how the Ford Focus on the Convict page is rice? Excessively large exhaust tip? Where? THAT little thing? Come on. If I saw that focus on the road I would be impressed because I highly doubt that this guy is BS. But then again if he actually does have nothing done to his car then yes, it is rice. I dunno, I dont think the focus should be up there but pretty much the rest of them should...(IMHO. Hell...I should be up there too. And most of the members here should be also.

Hahahha.... that's real funny dude. I'm sure the Integra owner with a banner a big exhaust tip and a combat wing would be like you too - pissed off.
I'm surprised, the ticker didn't state useless non functional hoodscoops.

personally i think subarus are rice cars....
of course there is a fine line between rice cars and rice burners...

rice cars - jap cars
rice burners - ANY car that puts stickers, wings, etc... to make there car appear to be fast but is not.....

ive given some rice tickets out....most people thinks its funny but some take it way to serious....

ive got one and it said in the other remarks
"Fog Lights larger than diameter of cylinder."
i found that very funny....
