Question So can you use JC Sports Torque chip with 4EAT?

I bought one already anyway but searching for SAFC info, I found that there are some conflicts with chip in auto?
And I didn't find a defenite answer wether safc and the chip can cowork, so the chip doesn't let ecu relearn? map

The older chips can't work with the 4EAT - the newer ones do - you'd have to take a picture and email it to the manufacturer if you have an old one to see if he can identify it.

The SAFC and chip can work together.

I've got one of the newer ones that is supposed to work with the auto tranny. It does work, don't get any CEL's, but I didn't really care for the results.....don't know if it was just the chip or my car being that it has the older ECU, etc.

I'll probably try to sell mine.....get some money out of it.

I am not sure the cars older than the early 90's will benefit, they already have a lot of timing adavnce.
