There are so few people who realize that WRX Wagons are the best thing since sliced bread. Unless its a suby person, I usually get "You drive a Wagon? " "You're under 30, a guy, w/ no kids, & you still drive a Wagon? " "Are you driving your wife's car? " Of all my friends, one understands.

04 Wagons are where its at!

OK, the sedans are money too...

I was under 30 when I bought it....no kids, no family, no wife....didn't even have a girlfriend when I first bought it. Caught a LOT of grief at first, but with a few mods and the grocery getter notion was QUICKLY dispelled or run stock and stay very stealthy.

Wagons ARE where it's at. Just the added functionality (read cargo carrying capacity) makes a lot of sense w/ the sedan's lack of folding rear seats. IF, the sedans had folding rears, I would have had a much HARDER decision, but I still wouldn't have been able to fit 8 stock wheels and tires in a sedan. Check out the 'calling all wagons' thread....you will not be disappointed.

GROCERY GETTER THIS!

Congrats! I struggled with the wagon/sedan choice for a while. If I had realized how much easier carrying a 2nd set of wheels would be, I might have gotten the wagon I didn't like the bugeyed wagons but I think the wagon looks a lot better in the '04 style. (I still like the bugeyes better of course.)

Now all you need is gold wheels

Thanks to everyone for the congrats. I really didn't want to back out of that STi wing trade, but I made the last minute decision to get this wagon. Here's a crappy pic I took with my camcorder, it just doesn't do it justice. I have some bronze Rota SDRs waiting to go on in the spring.

Yup...same wheels. I'm hoping that I won't get rubbing with the 225 width tires, but if I do I'll trade someone for their 215 widths.

shouldn't be a problem....unless you lower it. I've had no problems with my ecsta 712s (225) mounted on OZ/Prodrive P1s on stock suspension.

Nice wagon! The 04 wagons are loads of fun and there were quite a lot of improvements over the 2002-2003's.

I have 225's with 16x7" wheels on mine with no problems at all.

THeyare Rota SDR's. I run the 225 width tire and have never had a problem. But then again I wouldn't even think of lowering it as I enjoy playing on some of the back roads around here to much and I bottom out sometimes as it is.

I've got 225/45-17 Falken Azenis Sports on my wagon now, no rubbing at all. Still stock height.

I had my fenders rolled. I run 235/40-17's at the track and no rubbing.
