Default 1999 2.2 L + WRX aem CAI

What do you guys think?? My buddy is getting a impreza 2.2 and i was wondering what would happen if we put a aem cai from my 2002 wrx onto his car, assuming that is will fit....I dont know that much about his car, since im a wrx owner, so what do you guys think???

Im trying to help my buddy find some good performance mods to put onto his car. Ive read a couple posts on how the suspension is the first thing to modify (2.5 rs componants are suitable for the 2.2 L chasis, easy and cheap to find). We are prob gonna get some wrx alloys and find some RS struts/spring and RS front discs. Luckly for him a also have a stock wrx rear sway bar. Then after maybe some exterior stylings....2.2 kinda looks cheap (he says)

Other than that i do not know what else to do.....maybe the rear disc conversion. I dont think he wants to turbo it...just some bolt ons for the engine. What do you guys recommend? What companies are out there making performance parts for a 1999 impreza 2.2 L??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time
Johnny
