Have a Nice Day? Rays Engineering

This shop told me they can get me
some Rays Engineering TE-37 17inch for 250 each
without the tires, isn't that a good deal?
I want to get some for my turbo impreza next year. Is it a good idea to get them now?

They can't be $250. Thats about 120 below dealer cost. I am sure they are knock offs. There are ones that are made in the same molds as the originals, so they are identical. Beware. I repeat, you cannot find TE37's in 17x7.5 for $250 a pop.

I hear there are about three companies doing knock offs. Nippon Racing, DataTec or something like that, and the ones that look IDENTICAL to TE37's, stickers and all, except you don't get the metal plates in the inner rim. Oh and the quality too.

Lancer,
Why the TE37s? For their light weight, looks, or other.

If its the looks of the TE37 six spoke design, the Speedline Comp2 is very similar. The Comp2 won't be as light, but it costs a lot less.

Oops, my bad. I think the Comp2s are only available in 16x7 this side of the pond.

Yea i like the simple looks and light weight.

The guy finally called me back with the correct price. $390 for 17inch
that's still a good price isn't it?

Yeah, that's a great price. Just don't try to order bronze. My friend has those and waited 4 months to get them in a 16" @ $400 a piece.

Cool

I paid 430 for my te37s (17x7.5) and thought that was great compared to 590 for list or 525 tha Discount Tire has to pay for them...390 is fantastic, but do expect a wait
(I have had a set of 15s, for autox/snow,"in the mail" so to speak, for 4 months). I do think a group buy is in order
