Question Has anyone tested 0-60mph?

I have seen different results from magazines. I just want to know how fast the stock RS (absolutely no mods) can go.

I assume your head is a calibrated instrument?

[On my hard-hat, I have a "non-calibrated instrument" sticker. Tick tick tick]

there was a thread done about this a about a week ago in the technical forum, do a search in there the title had 1/4 miles times in it though not 0 to 60 times, most peoples ranged from 7.5 to 7.9 seconds, one guy said he got 7.2 (verified at a track) when he lauched at red-line.

Sport Compact Car Magazine got a 7.7 second 0 to 60 for the MY99 2.5 RS.

all the reviews u read that say like 8.3 and 8.5 seconds are messed up cuz those morons dont know how to launch an awd car.

mine ranges in the 10 second range but i own a slowass 1995 1.8L 110hp 2wd L coupe.

Your 1.8L must be a hell of a lot faster than the wagon my wife has. I wish it could hit 60mph in 10 seconds -- more like 15

(It's a '93 AWD)

Greg.
