Default Cobb Power Package + ProECM

I just ordered a Cobb Tuning Stage 2 Power package (the equal- length headers will arrive later, in December). I plan to get the Stage 1 Cylinder heads (with street performer camshafts) in the spring or so, because I don't have time to have them put in this winter and I would need to mail in my old ones in 30 days. Once I have this set-up together, somewhere over 200 bhp, what sort of electronics would be effective for more, noticeable N/A gains? Would the ProECM chip still make a nice improvement? People with intakes and catbacks say it's great. Any other idea's?

Also, would a Link Standalone ECU be overkill? What kind of gains can be tuned out of that thing with the above mods?

Thanks,
Josh

You could tune it via a piggyback system.

From what I hear Cobb has a ECU reflash in the works for the EJ25.

Before I went FI I had the Cobb intake, exhaust, street cams, borlar header and a ProECM. I think a stand alone might be overkill for the setup you are talking about. I would recommend the ProEcm however.

What are ECU reflashes all about? What'll they do for me?

AN ECU reflash is a reprogramming of a stock ECU.

Advantages are that it keeps OEM safety settings, is invisible to inspection stations and dealers, can be tuned on a dyno better (when the programming module comes out), retains the OEM self learning features.

Problem is, for now, the COBB unit is still being worked on.

But, you could ask COBB Tuning (Josh or Trey) what they recommend.
