Sponsorship?

has anyone tried or had any luck getting sponsored by a speed shop, auto shop, etc...just wondering if its still hard like it would be for a honda, since there arent as many of our cars. i already have one of the local speed shops that will sponsor me, but thats more through a car club i'm in and they mainly have parts for hondas/acuras. anything for me they'd have to order. and they arent as knowledgeable on subarus as they are on the other cars. anyways, just curious. i'd love to get sponsored by a place that REALLY knows what they're talking about.

To be sponsored, you'd need to get the new WRX that's coming out...yes, the one with the round headlights. Most will sponsor if it is a new design.

Discount Tire -
Gives me a signifigant discount on my purchases - in exchange, i run a sticker on my car

Smart Service - independent subaru dealer
Free Fuel Injector cleaning service - again, stickers

You have to present yourself well, you have to have something to offer them and usually there are those who will be willing to sponsor you - I just asked.
