Frightening but true: I was in the parking lot at work, and there was this car obscured behind a tree and from behind I could swear it was a new Impreza... and it had silver badging on the back that read: "Echo". Very frightening

(No, I don't think it really looks like an Echo -- I said OBSCURED BY A TREE. Geez ).

Greg.

its not COMPLETELY impossible....do you guys read Autoweek? One night I was at my friends house and we were going through some of them, on the cover was this REALLY ugly looking funky blue and yellow car (if thats what they are even classified as). This was about a month or two ago... They are real ugly, if you saw the issue you know what I'm talking about. The funny thing is, I actually saw that car (a red one though) on the road. I drove by it going what the hell is that??? Then next thing I know I see it on autoweek. I yelled, "I saw that stupid thing the other day!" He said how is that possible? They're not even in production yet and only a very few exist. So its not ENTIRELY impossible that goten saw the new wrx, even though it would be very easy to get confused with all these hondai/echos/etcs...

I live right by the LA harbor and see many "new" cars come by here. Like the All blacked out Honda with the lights even blacked out by tape. It drove by me and I said, ooohh, new Honda. But then I noticed the rear diff and thought, ummm, ahhhh, huh? But it turns out that its a car that was going to the honda test grounds here in torrance. New ( based on the S2000 ) Acura integra. But, anyways. I thought I'd share my story.

Can't they just put them inside an 18 wheeler container and roll it out at the tracks? Like Knight Rider? Sheesh.... how hard can it be? I should be the prototype manager!

Actually one of them WRXes was in Doylestown, PA a while ago (before I got my RS), and a guy at Fred Beans says he saw it. It was at their dealership being shown off to the salespeople or something. I told him he should have called me up and I'd be there in record time

I meself saw a convertible New Beetle last year on a tractor trailer of Jetta's and Audi's. It went by US 30E, about a block or two from my doorstep! no lie
Oh, about the Fred Beans thing(bought me RS from there): I think they don't know what they're talking about. The manager there wouldn't even admit to the H-6 in the Outbacks, let alone the WRX! The funniest is what someone from Cherry Hill Subaru said the WRX was going to look like, a mix between the Legacy and an 80's Brat :O

I just saw the new STI twin turbo version! It flew by me on the interstate. They thought they could fool me by putting S O N O T A on the rear deck . . .

This is true...
Well, although it wasn't Subaru car, I was excited.

We see that R34 all the time up here hehe...

I think Goten saw the new Outback Sport, has the exact same front as the new Impreza. Well I'm pretty sure it's an Outback anyway...

Saw it a while back
