Talking '04 baja prices released today :D

Finally SOA has released the pricing for the Baja. It looks like there are only 2 models. A baja Turbo and a Baja Sport. I found it at media.subaru.com:

SUBARU ANNOUNCES PRICING ON 2004 BAJA MODELS
-- All-new Baja Turbo strengthens lineup of the World’s First Multiple Choice Vehicle --

CHERRY HILL, N.J., Nov. 25, 2003 – Subaru of America, Inc., the only car company that offers symmetrical all-wheel drive as standard equipment on every vehicle in its product line, announced today the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for 2004 model year Baja models. Subaru adds an element of driving performance to the “World’s First Multiple Choice Vehicle” as the 2004 Baja model lineup now includes the Baja Sport and the all-new Baja Turbo.

Baja Turbo

The new Baja Turbo combines the functionality of the current Baja models with a new 2.5-liter DOHC

intercooled turbo engine. This engine delivers 210 horsepower at 5600 RPM and 235 pound feet of torque at 3600 RPM. The Baja Turbo features an AM/FM Stereo w/ 6-disc in-dash CD changer and six speakers. SPORTSHIFT and Variable Torque Distribution (VTD) AWD are standard on the automatic transmission models.

The Baja Turbo is offered with a cloth interior or with a Leather Package. The Baja Turbo with Leather Package model includes: 6-way power driver’s seat, leather-trimmed upholstery, dual mode heated front seats, driver’s seat adjustable lumbar support, and automatic transmission as standard equipment.

The MSRP for the new Baja Turbo with manual transmission is $23,995. The optional automatic transmission with SPORTSHIFT and VTD adds $1,000. The Baja Turbo with Leather Package model, has an MSRP of $26,295.

Baja Sport

New standard features for 2004 Baja Sport include a dash storage pocket, medium gray metallic audio face plate, and gray flat woven upholstery with black vinyl bolsters. MSRP of the 2004 Baja Sport with manual transmission remains unchanged at $21,995.

New exterior colors for the 2004 Baja line-up include:

Black Granite Pearl/Onyx Metallic
Monterey Silver Metallic/Silver Stone Metallic
Mystic Blue Pearl Monotone
White Frost Pearl/Silver Stone Metallic

With the exception of the dark tinted rear privacy glass, the 2004 Baja meets all federal passenger car safety standards. Destination and delivery charge has increased to $550 as announced with all Subaru 2004 MY vehicles. All 2004 Baja models comply with Low Emission Vehicle Standards and are certified for sale in all 50 states. All Baja models are classified by the EPA as Light Duty Trucks (LDT). All 2004 Subaru models feature the peace of mind of standard 24-hour roadside assistance for 3 years or 36,000 miles.
