Unhappy help! where to get a new Potenza Re92?

Anyone? Had a minor incident .... wife backed up, scraped the curb and took out the sidewall of the driver's rear tire..... car has just over 1K on it so all tires are still brand new... anyone have any new take offs or know where to get a new single tire?

BTW inspecting the tire and the sidewall... there is barely any material in the sidewall... only fibres but no steel... rubber is super thin... anyone else with sidewall failures? This happened in our own riveway and we have never had any sort of problem with our other cars/ tires.... very strange as the tire claims to be rated m+s ... find it hard to believe it would survive the "m" part at all...

I'm on the north shore and I can bring the tire on rim in...

thanks

I believe Mirage has some fairly new RE92s. Maybe he'd part with one.

I've got a pair of RE92's in my garage with about 10K on them. Free to a good home One of them has a repaired puncture.

I switched to Dunlop SP5000's. They were a vast improvement over the RE92's for dry/wet handling. The RE92's were better in the snow than the Dunlops. I'm using Toyo Garit HT's snow tires (mainly for TSD rallying).

Oops! Didn't think about that. Oh well, I almost got rid them. Anybody else want a free pair of 16" RE92's?
