So I found out you shouldn't use Blizzaks on rocky rallycross courses. Most of the tread blocks in the middle of both front tires are gone...

Damn am I glad you posted this! This was my plan for this season of RallyX. Guess I need to rethink my plans.

I would go with The falken rally tires there only $115 a tire and seem to be super nice

It depends on the surface, too- I have run snows on hardpacked dirt and sand, and they are fine there. Its just on loose rock that a _really_ soft and deeply treaded tire like the WS-50 will have issues...

You can get used rally tires for ~50 each- just ask some rally guys (they get rid of them when the tread blocks start to get rounded).

yeah, but I doubt they will have them available in a 15" size.

Do you mean 16"? All (real) gravel tires are 15" (well, or 14").
