Arrow Weapon R Intake -- MY00

Does anybody have directions besides what they sent us. Maybe even just a picture would help.

Those directions really suck that they sent us.

Is everyone having problems running rich with the Weapon R installed on MY00's?

Trust me, I know the directions suck!

The mounting bracket is the worst, you must bend it to fit. I used the rubber mount from the original intake system. I had to bend the bracket several times in order to get a correct fit. Be patient.
Sorry I don't have a picture.

Good Luck,

John

Question

Mine didn't come with any mounting bracket...are you talking about one that is already on the car?

The kit only has hoses/pipes and clamps.

Mine came with a straight metal bracket about 7" long with holes drilled on both ends. If you don't have it in your kit, don't worry, it is something that you can pick up at any hardware store....Actually, now that I think about it! There is probably something better at the hardware store! I might go out and see if I can find anything better for mine!

The part of the the car where the bracket mounts to is what I am reffering to. It is by the inner fender and it is a mount from the stock intake- That is the point I chose to mount the bracket.

I hope that helped!

John

The installation is quiet easy to do. The hard part is figuring out how to mount it so it doesn't bounce so much. I'm still working on that. Mine came with the t-fitting so i ran both tubes from the left side of the stock air box to it. Then I took the long gray one and ran it to that tube on the right side of the box. Works great!!! Loud as hell and a noticeable power increase.
