Default cold weather loud exhaust

I did one search for "cold weather loud exhaust" and nothing came up. So, has anyone noticed their exhaust gets louder in cold weather? I'm considering taking off my MagnaFlow. I like a car that rumbles, but I hate headaches. Yes, I have a resonator in the midpipe. It's a cheap fiberglass packed Thrush glasspack, so, with that only being like 4 months old, have I already blown the fiberglass packing out? It was actually too quiet for me at first, but now its too loud. Nontheless, I think I'm going to take the muffler off.

i have a magna flow on my rs w/ 2.5" pipe, no resonator. mine seems a little louder but its hard to tell. Mine was really loud at first, but it has quieted down more now (~6 months later) with some carbon build-up.

if it seems louder, make sure you check all your connections. i.e. the flanges at the rear of the Cat, and all your welds; perhaps the cold has shunk the metal ever so slightly to open up a leak here or there.

My car got louder last week, I think its b/c I installed a gutted cat pipe .

Its funny when you intimidate a guy in a Saleen Mustang .

Yeah my car gets louder with the high flow cat pipe when it's cold. After a minute or two it goes back down to normal levels though.

How is the 2.5" midpipe? I have one and am debating whether or not to goto 2.25". My setup for exhuast is liek urs, magnaflow + 2.5" pipe.
