Default Is it just me, or does the guy have to do everything?

So much for all this womens power and whatnot.

This girl Im sort of seeing at school in LA lives there, and I came home to SF for the holiday.

Well I talked to her yesterday on AIM and she was like "how come you didnt call? I missed you. You should have called, didnt you miss me?"

I was like "I called you on Wednesday. How come YOU didnt call me?"

of course i get the answer "well i guess...............you still should have called"

i know girls have insecurities, but its not like guys are totally devoud of feelings or insecurities. i have no prolem calling the girl, but why do they act like they cant call us?

stupid

That's why you wait until you are older to get serious with a chick. Until you find a girl who has her head out of her ass, expect these games.

Even then, you'll be expected to be a mind reader most of the time. I make it a point to make sure my wife knows when she's being... silly for lack of better words.

Exactly, I get tired of that crap. "Why didn't you call me?" Cause I'm busy and my life doesn't revolve around you. Of course that's not what they want to hear but it's frustrating when they act all insecure like that over something so small. Like if life stops cause you didn't call. I was seeing this girl earlier this year and she would call me everyday and after a while I told her that I got stuff to do so if I'm not home or if I don't call it's no big deal.

You're just gonna have to deal with it or move on and find someone not so clingy.

She's not your gf right? You shoulda blown her off, told her you were too damned busy to call her ass. Next time you call her, it'll be so she can show up and spread her legs.

Ouch Habu, are you popular with the ladies? hahaha
Usually when I first get into a relationship with a girl, I always tell her to call me, so if its a must do thing, I wont get introuble for "forgeting" or just not calling her. Doesnt anyone use the 3 day rule anymore?

It was decided between me and my friends that the term Female Logic is an oxymoron.

Problem 1:
Getting into a relationship with a girl. Don't do that off the bat, that's the worst possible thing. She then thinks you're her property as clearly illisutrated in this thread.

Problem 2:
There is no 3-day rule. There's a 3-date rule. If by the third date you haven't gotten any, DTB!!!

Heh.. Last night my GF brought her friend along. Her friend is WAAAAAY hawt, but she told us in a conversation a while ago that she think you should wait 5-6 months before gettin' down.

I said it was like having an IRA. "This tax free money is so sexy, but I can't touch it until when? "

Here's the thing...if you're just seeing this girl, then you need to talk and set some guidelines, like back the F up girl...space...leave me some space! Because she was probably only half serious about the whole thing, but now is the time when you have lay down the guidelines because she's just trying to figure out how much she can get away with at this point.

Now, if this is your girlfriend. Big difference. Because what I've learned, is why not make the call? Why not take two minutes from what you're doing that day and give her a call just to say hi. This goes back to my long-standing point that most of the things that women ask for from their guy isn't very hard to accomplish. You just have to learn that, hey if it only takes me a two minute phone call to make her happy, why not do it? Swallow some pride and make the call, or take five minutes and five dollars and get her some flowers or whatever. Those little things go a long, long way, and the only thing that keeps most guys from doing it is pride. Which is just stupid, considering how much pride you're gonna be swallowing when you're begging her to come back to you.

Very well put, especially the part about what a girl asks from her guy. In comparison it is relatively little. But this is in a relationship, not if you're 'kind of, sort of seeing'. All except the part about begging her to come back. Once it's over, it's over, no going back whatsoever.

no, we are in a relationship, shes just not "my girlfriend". the title is going to come, just not right now. im not seeing any other girls and she isnt seeing any other guys. im in college, this stuff happens.

like i mentioned i have NO reserve making a call. i dont. i love to talk to her and of course i love to hang out with her, i miss her. but my point is this, why am I the one that HAS to call. i would love it if she called me and said that she missed me on the phone, but no - I have to be the one that calls. its not like i say to myself "screw it, im not going to call her because if she isnt going to call me - then im not going to call her" im not 5 years old.

i honestly think girls are that insecure that they need that call more than guys. but its not like guys dont want that call either. its just sort of annoying.
