Default P0301, P0302, PO130...Please help/look

Hey guys well got my first major CE light.

PO301 Cylinder Misfire # 1
PO302 Cylinder Misfire # 2
PO130 02 Sensor Circuit Bank One Sensor One

Have an Injen Intake, Stromung high flow cat, and cat back, magnaflow muffler. I noticed my car is hesitating between 2,000, 4,000 RPM.

What do you think it could be?

Bad gas?...I did fill my car up with the normal 93 on Saturday. I drove my car for the first time today since I filled it up.

I did throw the front 02 sensor code.
It could be that the front 02 sensor is bad and it making cylinder 1 and 2 misfire.

Could my highflow cat be messing things up?
Just would like some info and some help thanks

Andy

AndyM,

You should change the stock wires... just plain junk.... subaru uses the blue NGK wires.... as replacement.

Well cleaned up the coil, and connectors. I also noticed corriosion inside the sparkplug wire. I used a small rag, and a very small brush and cleaned/brushed corrosion off. Drove it to school today and so far so good, runs better and hesatation is now gone. Cleared CE Light before the drive and it hasnt come on.

Dielectric grease is a great idae, I didnt think of that. I should get some new wires, maybe for Christmas....ha ha.

if you can't find NGK's around, Beck/Arnley make a pretty good stock replacement, blue w/ Mg. cores

crapola, I did put grease on the coil car was ok yesterday, but notice some hesatation again and the CE light came on. Pulled the code and its PO130 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. It looks like the 02 sensor needs to be replaced. No other codes were thrown just the 02 sensor.

Hey I notice you have a very clean engine. What product do you use to wipe it down in order to keep it clean?

I sir, after months of this exact problem (yep, right down to the corroded coil pack leads, and low rpm hesitation) can guarentee you it is the front O2 sensor. Beleve me... I know... I spent several hundred dollars to find out.... replaced:

plugs
wires
fuel filter
Idle air control valve (hella expensive)
coilpack
and finally the o2 sensor.

Make sure you get the ECU re-program for the dealership, as the ECU is what is causing all these o2 sensors to fail in the first place.

Out of warranty? : them: $200+ you: $80, 20 minutes of your time.

My car threw every code in the book EXCEPT the o2. be happy that yours is so obvious.

thanks guys for your advise

Chosenwon thanks man really. I figured it was the front 02. After having the car for almost 3 years it was only a matter of time before the front 02 went out after reading tons and tons of threads regarding the 02 sensor going bad so early.

Thanks again I have about 2 months of warranty but my exhasut is all aftermaret. So Im not going to even try to get it covered. As for the recall for sure I gotta do that. I got the letter just never got it in, because I hate going to the dealership.

No problem glad to help. BTW they make a specialized tool to help change out hte o2. I found this out AFTER I did it the old fasioned way. I did mine form the top down vs most people doing it form underneath. If you have any questions on getting it changed out, let me know, although it sounds like you know what you're doing anyway.
