Default Evil ICBC

<rant> OMG i went to renew my insurance, and stupid ICBC raised my comprehensive minimun to $2500 They didnt even tell me, they just changed it like they hoped i wouldnt notice bastards. Aparently 4 claims in 3 years is too many, riteous lil sons of motherless goats </rant>

I feel your pain my brothers and sisters whos unfortunate claims history is causing them punishment for being a victim.

Signed,
A very sad Timmy

No offence, but I'd rather YOU get the bill than those of us who have no claims. Why should we pay higher insurance for people who are getting 4 claims in one year?

This is not directed towards the Quinner, but ICBC although I am not a big fan, does have to get the money from somewhere and I'd much prefer it to be from people who seem to crash their cars a lot.

yeah i get ya, but c'mon, in 3 years ive paid them over $8000 for little pieces of metal on my car, and they have given back to me not even half of that in coverage :P i mean if i continues with one claim a year, in 5 more years i might as well have bought a new car :P

its bad when it would be cheaper to let your car get vandalised until it no longer works and buy a new car, then it is to have insurance cover you.

Damn I got like 3 or 4 hit and run / vandals claims. This is going to hurt my insurance premium next year.

I'd rather see them nail bad drivers with at-fault claims harder. They should subsidize the good drivers and the unfortunate who are making comprehensive claims.

I'm driving my mom's BMW but the insurance is in my name. They should really stop insurancing those a-holes. They're the ones that jacking up the insurance cost by driving like fruitloops. Oh they should also ban old people who can't drive anymore and those who got serious medical conditions. They make the road dangerous as well.

Vandalism claim doesn't affect your insurance right?

What really jacks up our insurance rates is auto theft. I lived in Victoria where there are heaps of minor accidents but insurance was super cheap because there is WAY less auto theft and theft from vehicle. Also here there tends to be more lrage accidents (like the one last week) where insurance will pay out a LOT of money.

your premium wont change, but your deductable on future claims will increase.

4 claims in 3 years = $2500 deductable on all future claims

or im my case,

-2 smashed windshields
-one broken in half spoiler
-one rock through the driver window

=

ICBC hates me :P

Tim

P.S. did you know our WRX windshields cost $1300 to replace
