Post New SCC, No Project Impreza, Again?

Hey Shiv,

I was wondering when Project Impreza would resurface. I understnad it can't always be in there every month, but I was hoping to see it this month after last months absence. Will we see an update next month? Got anything you can share with the I-Club while we wait till the next issue?? Oh, one other thing, any chance of an article detailing the N/A TEC-II install and tunning?

Have a Nice Day?

Yeah what gives

As soon as I got home everyday I ran to Barnes&Noble and Borders to see if the new issue came out to see about the TEC-II
Instead I got project SE-R.

Nothing wrong with a little SE-R action!

Even though I wanna see the next installment of Project Impreza, I enjoyed both SE-R articles!

I was a bit disappointed myself, fortunately I didn't buy that issue, though.

I believe that shiv would be waiting for several patents to come through before he released an article about the TEC-II kit, though (I did remember that correct, right? I believe I heard that shiv ws filing several patents on the system).

I'd say about 1.5-2 years is about average for patent processing these days. A lot of companies will still move forward though, once the application has been filed (the old "patent pending" thing).

GRRRRRRRR! What the heck. I waited and looked last month, nothing. So, I waited and I looked this month, nothing. They better do a monster issue dedicated to the impreza with spy photos and specs of the new one along with the project car. I can't wait for the next issue.

Hey guys,

SCC (and most other mags) operate on a 3-4 month lead time. That means that we're currently working on the October issue. But between now and then, there will be two more project impreza installments. These have already been written, laid out and edited. Expect one next month and the other a couple of months after that. In next months issue there is also an amusing rally competition story pitting project Impreza against project 510 and project 323 GTX. Hope you like it...

shiv

Well, I was buying their magazine before I got an RS, and like to read it whether they write up an Impreza or not.

Okay with you Shiv?

After moving I didn't get a single issue for 6 months. As soon as the first one arrives I open it up to discover two straight months of no Subaru. At this point I almost expect things like that to happen. I'd start to get paranoid if things went the way they were supposed to.

Cool... will definetly be looking forward to that issue.

I don't subscribe cause for some reason I never really find anything interesting in any other cars in there for the most part. I don't know if it is loyalty or ability to play with what I'm looking at (well, kinda... damn MY99), but I've always been like that with magazines. *shrug*
