Default 2 colder plugs?

drift king is tryin to sell me some ngk 2 colder plugs for my rs, he only wants like a buck fiddy per plug but theyre copper, whats that colder term mean

google is your friend. http://www.sparkplugs.com/faqmain.asp click on "I have modified my engine, do i need colder plugs" then click "HEAT ranges". There's all the info you could ever want about spark plugs there.

BTW: you can get NGK BKR7E-11's (1 step colder) at just about any decent auto parts store for $1.50. I got mine at NAPA, they had to order them but I still got them the next day.

I *think ngk 3330's work in our cars. I have yet to confirm but we use them on our 500+ HP supras all day long. platniums for the subarus and the Supras are teh same part number.

I'm going to check this next week sometime.

you absolutely do not want to run platinum plugs in a turbo charged car...absolutely the worst conductor of electricity in a plug.

Stick with coppers, or Iridium if you want. 1 step colder than stock for a turbo'd car is essential IMHO.
