Default STi steering assembly swap?

So, for those of you who have driven both the WRX and the WRX STi, you may have noticed that the STi's steering is muuuuuch more sensitive and quite a bit quicker. Does it use a different ratio in the steering? If so would it be swappable into our lowly WRX's?

I really liked how the STi handled when i took one for a test drive, and if i could swap over that steering system into my car that would rock. Anyone know anything about this or think it is a cool idea? Let's talk folks!!

Regards,
Timmy the tooth

P.S. I'm aware that the STi's suspension makes a big different, but even with that it felt a bit faster overall.

Would it be cheaper if you go with RevLab's "quicker than STi" steering rack?

What kind of struts are you running on? (coilovers maybe?)

How about stiffer steering rack bushings?

I wish I could but I didn't read much into it when their site was up. Their site is being renovated right now.. but from what it says, it has a 12.5:1 ratio. Best to look it up on toronto-subaru-club.com since those guys run the site.

The steering rack, will fit without any problems at all. I just swapped in a 04 USDM Sti steering rack into MY02 WRX.
