Hmm.. Bobs stuck? I would never have figured that a intelligent guy like BOB would ever get stuck. It must have been an accident, did any one tell him it was a bad idea to go driving on wet dirt with a lowered wrx with a body kit and summer tires?

Ps.. yes i was there and yes i have mud everywhere on me

still wuv you bob..

You wouldn't have that problem if you were sporting RE-92s Bob....Wish I could help, because due to poor driving skillz, I have LOTS of experience pulling cars out of places they shouldn't be. Stuck here all weekend with relatives.

If the wife's V8 AWD explorer didn't have a messed up drive shaft we'd come help no problem. Good luck. I hope you get it out.

I was talking to my dad about towing the car out with a Suburban and he suggests against it. He suggested going to ABZ rental and seeing if they have a "in ground" winch. It stakes into the ground and pulls just like a truck mounted winch. The only reason he suggested that is cuz the car might put too much load on a single point on the Sub. (ie. twist the frame)

But either way just get the damn car out of the mud

ps.. this post has been sitting here on my screen for the last 30 minutes yet i just now hit submit.. I R tried

Hey its bob,

We were just jealous of all the people in the snow so we were having our own hillibilly fun.

We took a turn and ended up going about 10 feet into some nasty deep stuff, just an accident no big deal.

anyways, yes own3d no denying that. But it does severly suck that my car is still there....

and despite robs better than though attitude he never spoke up at all before the stuckness happened.

He did help a lot getting it out. Now I just have to figure out what to do now. I think I will do the suburban thing, I aint skeered. Just got to do a lot of digging first.

well it ended up the guy who owned the lot was planning on starting to build his house next week...so we displaces a lot of dirt and sand and packed a bunch down....so we either gave him money for 2 loads of sand (about 300 bucks) or he callse the police and has us charged w/ trespassing and vandalisim. so we paid and got out of there and were like....dude....your house is so going to get egged all the time...

but he hooked us up to his F350 Turbo Diesel and hauled bob out....

nhluhr, haha dude you make me feel sooooooooo much better. My car looked very similar to that. Only my left side was deeper, and my right side wasnt deep at all.

WEll my car only has minor damage it seems, some plastic is hanging off the bottom of the car, and its super muddy, but thats about it I think.

Out 300 bucks that sucks, but could be WAY worse.

Thanks,rob,dave,and sean for the help

It was fun until we stopped and I looked out the door to see the swamp we were stuck in.

Then the fun ended and the endless track through night began...

My opinion as always is not PG-13 so i'll refrain from offering it. But i'm glad you got your car out of the mud hole.

What's the fine/sentence for trespassing and vandalisim? Couldn't you have just said you thought you were turning into the next road (ie the way to a "friends house") and got the wrong road. ?
