Default Lug Nuts

Just ordered a set of rims and I need some lug nuts for them cause the stock ones are big, heavy, bulky and they might just scratch my new rims. I'm wondering what type and brand do you guys recommend?

You can get Mcgard lugs at either PDM racing or any Canadian Tire

I have a set of Splinedrives from PDM and I really like them.. they go well with my gold OZ's and they do the job well.. no damage to rims after a few swaps..

I recommend them..

I got my Splinedrive lugnut kit from Lordco. Came with 20 Splinedrive lugnuts, and 4 locking lugnuts.

It is kind of an inside joke aimed at SubaruBen due to something we had discussed.

Gold wheels (and inside jokes) are for nut jigglers.

You only jiggle them if you can't juggle.

I like my Splinedrives because they have a seated bearing. What that means, is the seat of the lugnut doesn't rotate when you tighten your lugnuts down. That way, they don't scratch up your wheels! then again, I have cheapie Rota Subzeros.

Splinedrives are expensive, but you get what you pay for. The chrome finish on mine has NOT faded. The bearing mechanism on the lugnuts work as smooth as the day I got them. The locknuts have not rounded or deformed in any way.

I like the fact that the Splinedrives are close-ended lugnuts like the OEM ones. That means, the wheel studs can't rust from being open to the elements.
