Unhappy Explain PA Impreza drivers to me?

I was at the local mall when i saw two MY00 impreza's one was a L the other a RS here's where it get interesting:

The L: Has chrome 13s, a melon shooter, crazy non scooby wing, and "Lowrider" across the windshield.

The RS: No wing, Aftermarket rims and tires, Momo shifter, and the RS badge removed, but not the scooby?
Explain to me y the RS is trying to look like the L ....and what is the major malfuction of the L driver?

I think very few could explain "lowrider"; I know that I don't have a clue. I do understand removing the RS badge; it ruins the symmetry of the trunk (and it's cheap looking).

I live in upstate NY and ive noticed the same thing. Many identity crisis vehicles around here also. Paseo's with V-tech stickers and the whole nine. It sucks. Ah well, ive noticed that people on the east coast have yet to discover the "clean" style of the west coast. Still lots of rice boys running around the area and stuff. And yes there are a few subies running around with dumb stickers on them that dont mean anything. And i hate those damn racing stripes(or 1 stripe off to the side) Argh! i hate it hate it hate it! sorry.

Darril

*edit* sorry got east and west coast mixed up. sheesh how could i do that?

I don't know Faraz, Taste is aquired. Unfortunally its not inherited when you get a RS. BTW. was that L with the 13's blue?

Whoa! Hey Faraz, I think I know who you are talking about in the RS, and the car is basically a...umm...riceburner. Nice universal bumble bee muffler and last I saw green strobes in the headlights.

Anyway, Miracleworker, I see that you are from Northampton. I went to high school there. I'm still in the area though, and I think that maybe we have enough in this area to finally have our own little meet. If someone wants to set it up, go ahead, and I'll be there.

For some reason the rice content seems to climb as you start heading north of Philly (not that Philly doesn't have more than it's share).

Last week I saw a mustang with a neuspeed window banner, now that's funny.

Eric, nice gold wheels

Angry

I resent that comment about PA Impreza drivers....it's just you people out in Philly!

Over here in the 'burgh I'm the only one that I've seen with any modifications. Actually I've only seen two other RS's, but all of the bums out here get Civic's, Integras, Neons and Eclipses.

Being from Philly, PGH and now Mo-town I can honestly say bad taste is inescapable. I was visiting friends back in NE Philly a year and a half ago and could't believe how many riced out Civics, Eclipses and Jetta's I spotted. More rice up in Lower Bucks Co than stock!
In and around the "Burg you see more potatoes; Probes, Neons, Cavaliers and Grand Ams with cut springs chrome hub caps, goofy stickers and stripes. Though the last couple months started seeing more true rice Civics.
Mo-town has the some of the worst taste vehicles I've seen. Late 80's Cavaliers, Celebrities and Escorts with gold or chrome wheels, cut springs, stickers, grapefruit launchers etc. The funniest is a Celebrity that is like 4 different color primer, two tone wire spokes, cut springs and huge tail-pipe. This car even has my favorite "mod" clear corners with primered out circles and stipes.

Jaybird:

You live in Mo-town huh? I used to live on the corner of 3rd and Beechurst Ave when I went to school out there. Good ole WVU.

One thing that amazes me about Morgantown is the sheer amount of Subaru's. The guy who owns the Subaru dealer up on the Mile Ground must be a zillionare.

The reason most people don't have nice cars out there is that they spend all of their money partying!
