Default Looking for Recaro's

My TE37's I was going to get fell through grrrrrrrrr, so I'm going for seats.

Anyone know a good local place for a seat or two? I don't feel like getting raped by customes buying south of the border.
Seat(s) that I want specifically are the 'recaro speed'

Thanks
Benson

Try looking for Recaro online. I think u can get it for a better deal

My dad recently bought a set of Recaro SPG for his car, and i think the price is ok. Not tooooo bad.

The thing that is expensive about Recaro is their installation kit. The bracket and stuff are cheap, but the installation kit is a rip off. However, u get a nice Recaro sticker on the side though.

I don't really want to deal with them my brother ordered a front bumper from them and they've been stalling on it for 5 months . They keep saying they have it, they have it but nothing has shown up.

Why not cannonball?

Only Recaro dealer is.....damnit, forgot their name...I called them for Recaro SRD's. Check recaro's website and go under dealers and there is one in East Vancouver..

Recaro = FIA approved
Bride = not FIA approved

Don't get me wrong though. I don't mean Bride's product is bad. Just that I like Recaro's product better. And btw some red Bride seats users told me that their red seats fade out pretty quick. So beware of that.

Recaro+Bride seat rails is a nice idea though LOL.

Search online for some Recaro groupbuys on SRD, SPG(saw quite some groupbuys on honda-tech.com before), etc etc. Depends on what kinda model u like, bucket/reclindable. U'll probably find better deal from the US.

Also, beware on the sizes when u're getting the seats, coz USDM & JDM recaro seats have different dimensions. Are u a big guy Imprezaboi?

I'd sat in my friend's SRD's before. OMG, it's better than having a hot chick wrap her arms around you. I didn't want to get out of his car! They held me nicely in place even with a 3 point belt at autox.

Check PM.

BTW are JDM Recaro SRD's bigger or USDM? I always though USDM.

Thanks

JDM Recaro are called SR2, SR3 etc. And they have smaller dimension compare with USDM Recaro that are called SRD. There are some seat pattern that are available in Japan/US only. And if u found a used one it's probably a good idea to find out if they're SR3/SRD. Anyway reclindable seats like SR3 will fit u well too IMO, just that the SRD will be even more comfy coz it's a bit looser.

Bride = FIA approved too..

i was just checking them out on the net..

and the newest bride racing shells such as Zeta3 are FIA official homologation...

ok my vocabulary is limited...i dunno what "homologation" means..

my 6 year-old dictionary does not have this word..

does it mean "approved" or sth...
