Cool Colorado RS Owners

Hey all,
Is there a group of Colorado RS owners that get together on occasion?
I'd be interested in seeing what all the other Colorado owners have done to their vehicles as I have a lot to learn.

Thanks,
Stacey

We just had a meet 2 weeks ago, about 17 Imprezas showed up for that. There's another guy in Broomfield with an Impreza and you might see me driving around once in a while.

We were there. The food was crappy, but the rest of the meet was quite fun.

Actually, the Cajun Calzone was quite tasty!

But, driving Diz's turbo through 18 miles of mountain passes was even better!

Thanks,
I signed up for the Colorado Impreza club?
How often do you guys meet up?
Do any vendors usually come, or do you all not like that?

I look forward to meeting all of you,

Stacey

Yes, the food was a little "iffy", but who cares about the food at a Sube meet- we're there to drool over the cars!

Thanks, Larry. BTW - Jon was able to iron out the problems with the boost controller, so that is now operational. I am running around 7-9psi. With the addition the new water injection and the boost controller, it pulls much better and is noticably smoother. This last round of tuning has made the most difference in the car since the turbo was put on. Also, we got the a-pillar boost guage mounted (white face).

One last item - I ran into a guy last nite with a black MY99. Beau (or Bo) is his name. Know him?

Stacey-

I've noticed that the guys from JC Sports go to the meets. I've never been able to attend a meet...yet. I hope to go to the next one with my dirty, dinged up, stock RS though.

Welcome to the I-club and SPCR!

Heh heh, I'll be moving back to Colorado in the next 3-6 months or so (I'm originally from Broomfield). I'll probably be getting the Rex when it comes out, I'll need it for the altitude. When I drove my Impreza up there it felt slow (it's about a 25% power hit for NA up there.) Anyway, I can't wait to meet you guys.

Not sure if you were asking me or not...but to answer your question...I don't drive an RS yet.
My damn dealer (Flatirons Subaru in Boulder) keeps jerking me around.
I ordered the car over 2 months ago. First they told me the middle of September. Then they told me the End of September. Then they said it will definitely be in on October 2nd. Now they are telling me this Saturday.

Oh well, when I get it...it will be a MY01 Blue Ridge Pearl Coupe.

Can't wait!

Will-

I think you were asking me, since I'm in Denver? Nah, I have a black '98 RS, currently very dirty, missing the driver's side mirror (thank you drunk *******, wherever you are) and kinda dinged and scratched up.

What Sube do you drive?

sbsnyder,

Howdy! I live in Broomfield also. So if you see a Rally Blue 2.5RS (slightly lowered) running around it's me (in my own little world). Welcome to the club!

I ask because I keep seeing this MY00 White RS on my way to work in Boulder (from Denver), and sometimes around Denver. The driver is female, just curious.

Ahh,
I see why you were asking now?
I am actually a guy. I know...my parents must have been smoking something when they named me...but what can you do.

Regards,
Stacey

I work in Golden but live off of Hampden in Englewood. Going east every morening, I've seen a white RS. Not sure if it's a coupe or four door, but I think it's four. Is it anyone here?

Speaking of Colorado owners, how is the Colorado forum coming along? Is there an ETA for the arrival? Thanks.
