Ok so I just notice a TON of heat coming from the rear left wheel tonight... When this happened on my Dakota it was the calipers crapping out. I have read about the H6 rear brake swap but cant find info on doing it for this year (quickish search as I need my car asap to work...)
1) if there is this much extra heat on just ONE corner is it safe to assume that I have an issue there? 2) what are my options? Its a DD and I do outside sales so I need it to be 100% reliable. I know there are a lot of places to do upgrades and I dont want to waste money. What are my options for upgrades, aftermarket rotors, kits ect. Its an 09 2.5i and for the record I do have a set of stoptech street pads waiting to be installed. Everything else is stock, minus some fancy new tires lol

Ok well I found out, on my own, that I already have the same rear disk size as the H6 setup.
Now I have a rebuild kits on the way for the rear. Anyone done it before? Is it fairly simple? |
