Are you at U. of Arizona? We just had a visit from Betsy Gillespie, who is a postdoc there.

I do mostly CNC lathe programming and operating. I don't get to spend much time on the mills. The majority of the parts I make are for Roush Racing. The most notable parts I have programmed and ran for them to date were 10" diameter track simulation hubs made from 7075 aluminum. I would someday like to make performance and dress up parts for Subaru and other makes of vehicles. I have made a few items and sold them here on the club.

Yup, that's me. I just defended in early October, bought my STi and started a postdoc at NRAO. My personal web page hasen't been touched in 4 years or so. And I do know Betsy Gillespie as well.

They must pay postdocs pretty well there!

Say hi to Betsy for me. She'll have no clue how you got my name.

I'm in highschool, but I work part-time at www.missionecommerce.com as a web and media developer.

Currently all my paychecks are going towards car payments and insurance. Every now and then there is a little bit to invest with, but that's quite rare

Cool

Shameless plug time:

Check out the top story at this website.

http://www.spaceflightnow.com/

Here at the Naval Satellite Operations Center everything looks good at the L-9 hour point.

And in the spirit of the Navy UHF Follow-On (UFO) satellite program:

HA... That's a great one!

Good job! and THANKS!

I wanted to get into the Apache when I got out of the Navy in 92. I was going to try to cross over and see what I could do. I just never followed through... oh well... missed opportunity.
I did get to do some TAD time in H-60s doing SAR duty in Jax... THAT was fun!!

Oh yeah...
I'm an Electrical engineer. I work in the test engineering department of a company that designs and produces telecom equipment.

3rd year at CSU.
Was Pre-med but switched to Business this semester. I worked at National Car Rental before college (when I bought my car) and switched to Budget (both customer service) when National here merged w/Alamo-so I work there seasonally, work study at school. Maybe transferring to CU denver to work and go to school and finally invest more in my car, have extra money.

Talking Shameless Plug #2

L-2 hours and counting! Problem free so far:

www.spaceflightnow.com
www.ilslaunch.com

Just got relieved as Command Duty Officer here at Naval Satellite Operations Center in Pt Mugu, California. Now I get to sit back and enjoy the launch.

Submariner by training, but now they let me run all the Navy satellite ground stations.

For those of you living near Cape Canaveral, my next satellite is going up in two hours on an Atlas IIIb.

Neat. Got a portfolio? I'm in the same business. Although I work with a lot of php and css scripting as well, and some .net on the side.
