Default cat-back compatibility??

I have seen where the 2002+ wrx catbacks are put on GC8s and just wondered what it took to pull this off and how the fit would be, especially on my coupe. I remember someone saying you just have to bend the exhaust hangars. I would just rather have the 80mm piping on the wrx greddy evo when i go turbo than the 60-70mm piping on the greddy evo made for the rs. Do you think the size would be worth worrying about enough for me to just buy a muffler i like and get 3inch piping run or to sacrifice the fit for the wrx's bigger catback?

I'm not going to put on bigger piping until I have forced induction. So, the wrx catback on my coupe will not stick out past the bumper? Do you have any pics of one on your car I can see?
thanks

Doing searches turn up some really good results... scroll down until you see the photos.... I have a nice little talk about the midpipe.... as for the rear ection... yes, you will have to alter a hanger.

thanks for the help guys. I don't know how I feel about altering the flanges to work unless the wrx axle back+midpipe would solve that problem? anyone know if that would be a solution?

wail till you have a turbo to chage the exaust

simply put
any GDA GGA GDF exaust will work on a GC8 with a factory mounted turbo
