NOT YELLOW!!!

Question Higest mileage so far?

Just a little nonsense question, since I'm bored, and wondering if anyone can top my mileage.

I bought my Baja in Sept of last year, right after they hit the market, so I've had it for 15 months, and 48k miles. By the end of this month, or, more likely, mid Jan, it should be up to about 52k.

As far as reliability, I've done all the reg. maintenance. Problems include an appetite for brakes (about every 18-20k in front), and a timing belt tensioner that's been replaced twice following tapping on cold weather starts. Surprisingly, the original tires still have a fair amount of life left in them.

Other than that, been very happy. Handled snow and 120 degree heat w/o a hiccup, as well as hauling some really heavy loads on a few occasions, some light offroad duty, and lots of high speed highway cruising.

So, chime in, how long have you had your Baja, and how many miles?

Just 8k here (since May 03) and two oil changes. Haven't checked at the past few fillups, but when I have it''s been getting 25 mpg every time (clearly better than any of the other 4 door trucks I was looking at before getting the Baja).

Oh, MissingMyRS - like you Baja's color

Have had my Baja since this past July - only 3,800 miles. Going for the first oil change today! We were hit with 2 feet of snow up here in New England this past weekend, and I've got to say the Baja handles the snow better then the Jeep Wrangler I traded in. (And I loved that Jeep!)
I've checked my gas mileage the last few times, and I'm only getting around 20 MPG...my tansmission is automatic, so maybe that's it. Can't say enough about how good it is in the snow!!!

I've got about 4500 miles on my Baja purchased in September. When I got the truck it pulled to the right and the molding above the door was bent. Had the dealer do an alignment and am still waiting on the fix for the trim. They've replaced it twice, bending it each time. Third one is on order.

Got our Baja June 7th, thats 6 months=!7,428 miles,

However,Somehow I don't feel its anything I should be
bragging about. But I will say this much, it's been one
smooth ride so far.

Haha.. When I posted, I didn't even think about the possible other interpretation of my title (accumlated mileage vs. fuel mileage).

But, since everyone else brought it up, I get about 17-18 around town, an average of about 21, and the best I've really recorded is about 23 on long road trips. Sounds somewhat poor, but I blame mostly my driving habits. (lead foot)

And, yes, very happy so far. I still miss my old Impreza, but I don't regret the Baja one bit.

Bought our Baja at the end of January and only have 6k hehe....

We bought it for sport and fun and in the past year we've only been up to VT mtn biking 3 times which is low for us actually. Hopefully get to take a handful of weekenders up to Mad River et al during ski season.
