Post Rear Sway Bar Question

I tried asking in the Group Buy post over in the classifieds, but my message got lost in the posts. Maybe someone here can answer it. My wheels are not the correct offset, so they rub when I have people in the back seat or take a turn too sharp. If I installed a rear sway bar, would that help reduce the rubbing, would it make it worse, or would it not make any difference?

Your help is appreciated.

It will decrease body roll, particularly at the rear which will help.

You would be better off to increase the spring rates and/or roll the fender lip.
