Talking Someone finally beeped at me for a change :D

Well I was driving home from work today, and I always see this MY00 silverthorn, coupe around my town, hes got rims, and exhaust I think, I always beep at him and give him the thumbs up, and he always returns the gesture.

Well today he got the jump on me, i was driving along and I heard a sube horn, I turned and looked and he was sitting in a gas station on the other side of the road, I inturn beeped and gave him the thumbs up. I drove the rest of the way home with a big smile on my face! . What an awsome car!

He is not on the board at least I dont think he is. My next task is to recruit him, but we are always going in oppisite directions, Ill have to chase him down one day.

I have yet to get a beep or a thumbs up...I've gotten brights flashed at me, I've gotten stared at, gawked at, glared at, gazed at, checked out, drooled over, complimented, and given the finger...but not horn OR thumbs up

Actually, a honda revved his engine at me the other day as I drove by...At least I think it was at me...Is this some sort of salutation? I would have waved or revved back, but I had passed him by then ::shrug::.

Fido you've mistaken the honda flooring the gas pedal and downshifting the trans trying to keep up with for him reving the engine, hehehe.

I waved and flashed my brake lights for the first time in S. New Hampshire last night...had the car a week, and finally got the opportunity! Don't know if the White RS is on this board, but I acknowledged them!

So I pull up next to this OBS at a stoplight a few weeks ago, he's got aftermarket goodies all over the car. He's going forwad I'm turning right. I wave, he waves. We both rev the engines. I go to turn right and mash the pedal, only to spin out terribly. I do all the wrong things and end up sideways in the road facing a busload of very confused looking passangers. So I wave at them and drive away. The moral of this story? Heck, I dont know. I guess it's wave, honk and smile, but dont be an idiot when you see a fellow subie driver on the road.

Last July, I gave a thumbs up to a green SVX I was next to. Before I could do that, I was staring at his car while in stop and go traffic. Since I had no chance to give him the thumbs up(stick shift, stop and go bumper to bumper traffic can be a handfull), all I could do was stare. His girlfriend started blushing, coz I think she thought I was staring at her. Finally, when I had the chance, I yelled "NICE CAR!" and gave him the thumbs up. He laughed and said, "I thought you were staring at her!"

She gave him a good shoulder smack. hehe!

She was cute......but my woman is cuter.

Cool

Nobody in Columbus will wave, beep, or give me the "thumbs up." And I thought New Yorkers had attitudes! Ha ha! Just joking!

Yeah on campus here at Univ. at Buffalo,
there are like 5 Rs's (RS'es???), 1 that's all pimped out w/ v5 wing and all and I've never gotten any acknowledgment from any of them. No offense, but most of them look like the L.I people with that certain attitude.

Talking

Today, I finally got to drive by the white Impreza coupe that's parked close to my work. As we were passing each other, I gave the driver thumbs up. He waived and smiled. Like this: So, of course, this was my expression for a while after:

The correct thing to do is to roll down your window, lean out and shout, "WOLLA, MIN FAETTER!" The response, of course, is "WOLLA FAETTER, FED SCOOBY!"

I'm not insane.

Ooo yes!! WOLLA MIN FAETTER!!

For those of you who have no clue what Hebaru is talking about, check out this link: http://www.dr.dk/u/banjo/spil.htm It's a flash based game in Denmark called MUJAFFASPILLET.

The game starts and you have a low end Bimmer and you have to Rice it up. No performance parts available, just rice parts. Then you go on the streets and navigate around the cars, picking up condoms on the street, and gold chains (money to buy more rice accessories).

As you're driving, you'll see a friend walking down the left sidewalk, press the Space bar and reply to his greeting "WOLLA!!" .. Also, when you see a chick walking on the right sidewalk, (and you've previously picked up condoms on the street!) press ENTER and get some poontang!! Be careful! you must get 3 chicks and do 3 greetings at each level to continue!

With the gold chains you picked up, you get to buy more Rice!!

Enjoy!!

It's a trip

Exclamation

Actually, in the new version I believe that the characters can be on either side of the street -- so be alert!
