Ignition keyhole light ring found on 03+ wrxs..

How hard or easy is it to use the light in a 02? What all is required? Not sure if anybody's actually done this. I'm jealous and want one. =)

You have to buy the whole ign switch which is around 120bucks, you can buy the ring by its self.
I want one too.

Dang 120 bucks for the swap... dunno if it's worth all of that for a little keyhole light =)

I had to replace the lock on my 02 when someone tried to steal it.
I now have the lighted ring but I have no idea where to connect the wires to make it work.
Does anyone know?

I dont think the wires are there on your car, only (i think) 03 and up had them. but you could tie into the dome light circut to make it work. If not, want to sell it

I can't sell it coz it's already installed. It took me about 2 hours to drill out the anti theft bolts on the original one. That was tough to do without scratching the dash.
Connecting it to the dome light is a good idea.
