Default OT: How to keep dogs off your lawn

This morning when I went out to collect my garbage cans on the side of the curb, I discover a dozen pile of dog crap on my front lawn. Since I'm always at school and my neighbour is also out as well, I never noticed it before. Now is there anything I can do to keep dogs of my lawn? No poison, no leg traps, nothing that can land me in jail.

You have seen "Never Cry Wolf" right? Old Movie.
Just mark your boundaries!

Actually I'm sure somone is walking their dog off leash and doesn't care to pick up after their dog. Other than posting a watch for that person there isn't much you can do.
A small fence, maybe? There are short fences that you can just stake into the ground. Depends on the size of the dog.

Good luck

U know what I'm gonna say: Stake the owner out.

Have him fined if you don't like him. Pets are wonderful but they can't clean after themselves. That's why they have owners.

Damn that's what I was afraid of. I don't have the time to go stalking people. I guess I could put up some kind of camera by the lawn and see who the hell keep letting their dog crap there.

Well, you could set up a motion detecting sprinkler. It turns on for a brief period, and shuts itself off effectively spraying whatever or whoever triggered it. Wet dog smell! Otherwise, look up Claymore. (sic)

BTW I HATE irresponsible dog owners. I always have a baggie...

I was going to suggest a motion sensor sprinkler too

but come on tricky a claymore is just mean , a bouncing betty would work much better

Hire a sniper. They work great on would-be burglars as well.

Bouncing Betty? Are you referring to land mines that pops up around the height of your hip and explode and therefore split you in half? And thanks for that motion detecting sprinkler, wonder if they sell it at Home Depot.

Rent an Eagle Eye DVR System ... it's motion activated and records HQ pics of any area you specify.. Great stuff for stalking!

wait for a couple days, pile up the poop on the sidewalk and stick a sign in it that tells people not to let their dogs poop on your lawn

1 x can of liquid nitrogen
1 x old pitching/sand wedge

Spray some liquid nitrogen over the turd.
Find said neighbour with dog.
A 3/4 swing should do the trick.

PS. don't wait too long after spraying the turd before pitching it to from where it came.

Problem solved. Plus you can practice those tricky pitchshots that always elude you on the course.

Didn't Bobby from the TV show King of the Hill use one of his dad's golf clubs to hit dog-poop into the garbage can?

LaterZ!
