I checked out the SE forum and found lots of pics. take a look:

I REALLY WANT ONE NOW. I though I just wanted to wait till it was out to make sure that that was it. But now seeing it. I am not frothing in the mouth to get my first glimps of one out here on the west coast.

Thumbs up Just drove a Baja turbo automatic!

They're starting to arrive! The dealer in Silver Spring, MD got two this morning, a 5-speed and a automatic. The 5-speed was sold and gone by the time I got there this late afternoon; certainly a good sign for the future.

In a nutshell: Very impressive! Considering the primary audience (Harry & Harriet homeowner), it's a very good solution. Will it knock you over with power? Not from a standstill, but once moving it does scoot.

This was also the first Subie 4EAT SportShift that I've driven, and it too was very good. I just wished it were a 5EAT, and not a 4EAT. Maybe next year... I also want to try the 5-speed manual when I get a chance.

I also noticed it has the "cruise set" light so that it only goes on when it is engaged. Thank you Subaru. This Baja had the leather seat package, which also comes with heated seats.

Even with all these improvements, I can't help but want to see this applied to the next-generation Baja, be it built off the new Outback platform or the new upcoming 7-passenger crossover platform.

I'm still only offering 3% over the invoice. I can't believe they are charging 27K in Florida! Is that what's going to happen to the rest of the country!?

The car is an extremely slow seller in certain parts of the country. Here in NJ, I was offered a Turbo Baja for invoice as soon as they arrived. *shrug*

Hey all,
I just got back from a ride in the new Turbo Baja 4at. What can i say other than, WHAT A RIDE. It was exactly what I was expecting. I was not expecting a impresa sti ride because of the different tuning and based on the legacy. And, WOW on acceleration and freeway passing. The Sportshift was better than i was expecting. Smooth transistions between gears and the normal drive was smoth between gears. The ride was extreamly quiet and the suspension was just the right feel, more like a car, but tough enough for a truck. Another thing that I just loved was the heated seats, they heat up the back . I am currently in Seattle and spoke with Eastside Subaru, a bit more sleasy than I want and would go to either Chaplins or Carter subaru to purchase, but I just moved to Satna Cruz, CA and will be making my pruchase soon from them. Non commission sales makes it mutch easier.
