OMG - a hyundai - where will it ever end

K I'm on my way home - minding my own business - no tailgating or anything like that when behind me on the highway comes a Tibaron - lights a blazing - so not wanting to be a total weenie

I decide to pull into the next lane and let the guy go past (methinks I'll blast past at the next safest spot) ....... but no ...... no joy couln't keep up

and to top it off he was in hot pursuit of an early supra turbo ......

what have those things got in them ??

At this rate I'll be trading in for a talon or mitsi gsx

need more hP

Well I'm not sure about their hp figures (prolly around 150hp) but they're really really light, which actually makes 'em quite quick.... relatively speaking.

Well if your in Maryland it could be the one owner of APEX Suspensions. He drives a black Tiburon that is running a turbo and NOS. He uses it for auto-x and some other racing. They are light cars and can run really well when setup. Oh and didn't Chrysler just buy Hyundai? Next they are talking about buying Daewoo in Korea. So when does GM get broken up as a monopoly? It only seems fair. The gov went after Microsoft as well as VISA/Mastercard.

the 99 tibs ran about 7.1-7.3 in real life ...don't know what the 00 run

Faraz: You might want to recheck your numbers. In the latest issue of Road&Track, the tibs clocked in at 8.3 (0-60) and 16.3 (1/4) and this was listed in the Decmeber 1997 issue as being the original Road Test Summary. Unless the engine has been revamped and/or drivetrain refined, the Hyundai Tiburon FX is still the same car.
