Wink I can't Seem to Control my RS, Help!

So I'm on my way home with my friend going to pick up my bike, when I pass an empty high school parking lot. In a split second I have to make a decision. To pass or not to pass. Well new swaybar, tires, and a passanger, Yeah It's a no brainer . So I start in slow, like i'm just passing through, then I lay on it. Hard left, Right, left, U-turn, gun it, slam on the brakes, You get the point. Well after a minute of having a little fun I begin to leave the lot when I notice something parked across the street, on a side street. It was a Modified MY00 White Ford Crown Victoria with a Optional Light Bar. Yup, It was quietly sitting there with a front row seat. I suddenly stop, reverse, and stop in a parking space. The only thing i could think of was to stall. I get out (pretending not to see him) and look at my tires. I look at all four and test their presures. Hey I got nothing to loose!! Well seeing he's not about to make the first move I get back in and start to leave. Well time to get what's coming to me . I start traveling down the road, he doesn't move. I check my rear view waiting to see the colorful display of lights my taxes pay for, yet I see nothing. Oh, a game he's playing. I go about a half a mile down the road and make a right. Still no sign. I make a B-line staight home. Watching the rear view more than the road in front of me. I get all the way home (3 miles) and see nothing. Now I didn't make eye contact as i passed him but my friend did. He asures me that it was occupied. I don't know why or how, but maybe someone's trying to tell me something. Two extremely close encounters with public servents within 3 days, with nothing more than a warning. (thursdays antics http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/Forum1/HTML/013777.html )

Acually since I got my RS (4 mo.) i've gotten 4 close calls/warnings. All of em' I was going under 35mph (no speeding yet). I'd like to know if there are any self control methods I could use when driving the RS. Cause if I don't, I see a heavy donation to some City office. HelP!

P.S. I have a SRP 4 door. maybe that is the reason.

Cool

Yeah, but Miracle can't make it to any more AutoXs because they're all in NJ (instead of Philly) and his brother can't carry is gun in NJ. Sorry, had to say it. Miracle - I just find it amusing that your brother won't go outside without a piece. I mean, yeah, I carry every once in a while, but...I wouldn't carry at an AutoX anyway.

every week I want to go to Jeresy but getting up at 7am and driving over an hour somehow doesn't seem apealing. But just about 2 o'clock i always wish i would of went. I'm definately going to the last two events, and I'll make Alex come. (without his 45 of course). He'll want to bring the gun but I have the final word on that. I'll tell him your monkey will protect him.

My take on it : keep low and drive slower. Honestly I used to drive like a f**king madman constantly (passing people that went under 10 over on streets, fishtailing everywhere in the rain (in RWD vehicle), etc). I just learned that slowing down slightly only gets you there a minute or two later and its actually much less stressing then waiting for some a**hole going only 2 over the limit to get out of your way.

That and I've gotten two tickets already this year and can't get any more or I'll lose my license.

Note: Please disregard the fact that I was playing with a Civic on the highway last night at about 100mph.

Once in a while you gotta go nuts, but just be careful when you do.

That;s what autoX is for....duh.
It takes out all the energy in me so that on every drive, I drive normally. And in Solo II days I can try out any moves I want legally and not harm anyone.

But, remember run order. When I ran third heat for Camden, I left around 9:00 AM for the two hour drive and got in around 11:00 AM. Plenty of time to set up, etc. Check http://www.autox4u.com/main.html and click on Philly Solo to get the run order. If you run afternoon, show up for 11:00 AM.
